Boarding schools (efterskole)

There are five boarding schools in the municipality of Lemvig. A Danish boarding school is where students aged 14 to 18 can opt to spend one or two years during the last part of their primary and lower-secondary school education. It is a self-governing, independent institution that focuses on the academic and personal growth of its students. There is a fee payable should your child wish to stay at a boarding school; please contact the individual school for details.
