Primary and Lower-Secondary Schools

There are 7 municipal public schools in the municipality of Lemvig.

When your child is ready to start school, you normally have to enrol them at the school closest to your home. This happens once a year after an announcement, which appears on this site and in the daily press. At “Christinelystskolen” and “Thyborøn Skole” schools, enrolment is done on an ongoing basis when children turn 6. If in doubt, you can always contact the individual school for more information. We also offer childcare for students in the form of an after-school program (link to the particular site). You are free to choose from any of the schools in the municipality, as long as there is a place available in the specific class.

Enrolment of children for year 0 is done digitally through a web sign-up.
